How to Help
The budget to build Phase 1 as depicted on the website is approximately $170,000. Phase 1 will open the Park to visitation for the hundreds of thousands of people who visit the adjacent Flight 93 National Memorial every year. Phase 1 will allow visitors to see the plans for the Gold Star Memorial Plaza and encourage involvement and financial support.
The preliminary budget to build the Gold Star Memorial Plaza and supporting infer-structure is estimated at 4 million dollars. Phase 2 is estimated at 6 million dollars. That is a lot of money but it is possible if everyone who visits this web page donates to the project on behalf of one of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Financial support can also come from American Legion and VFW posts on behalf of a fallen native son or daughter. Service organizations from across the country providing a charitable gift on behalf of all the veterans in their organization. Corporate America could step up and fund the project on behalf of all their employees who are Global War on Terror veterans. Our Armed Forces have given so much, if we each give what we can Patriot Park will become a reality. The link to the Community Foundation of the Alleghenies provided on this site provides a way to contribute. Contributions may also be mailed to the Patriot Park Foundation at 6150 Lincoln Highway Stoystown, Pa 15563. All contributions are 501(c) 3 deductible. Patriot Park Foundation is an all-volunteer organization so all funds go directly to the development of Patriot Park and the Patriot Park Memorial Plaza.
For Patriot Park to honor our Global War on Terror Armed Forces, Veterans, and family members of those who died in the line of duty must get involved. Patriot Park supporters are needed to assist in fund raising, visit media outlets, assist in Park design, and spread the word on social media. You may get involved by contacting Patriot Park Foundation at firstname.lastname@example.org
