Future Plans | Patriot Park Foundation | Honoring Post-9/11 Heroes and Families

The Field of Heroes Flag Display, although originally envisioned as a temporary display, has been so well received by visitors that our Board decided it must become a permanent year-round feature at the Park. Plans are underway for:

Improving the plaza walkways with brick pavers.
Adding an educational feature that includes partner curriculum for schools and individuals, and interactive videos of discussions with Post-9/11 Veterans.
An Education/Visitor Center with interactive displays, exhibits, classrooms, and a theater.
A permanent memorial bearing the Names of the Fallen.

Plans have been moving forward with the Board of Director’s vision for the future of the Post-9/11 U.S. Armed Forces Memorial at Patriot Park. Patriot Park Foundation has retained the services of a nationally recognized design firm that is known for creating powerful interpretive experiences for their clients and their guests. This firm is preparing a conceptual design of the "Inspiration Plaza" which includes a permanent and thoughtful Names of the Fallen display.
