WHAT: VAU’s Fallen Heroes Memorial made of over 7000 dog tags and 50 gold stars that create an image of the American flag, will be on display at Patriot Park. Flag honors Gold Star Families nationwide and the fallen heroes of the Global War on Terrorism. It is built and funded by veterans and has travelled to 185+ locations nationwide since 2018. All proceeds support Gold Star family organizations and GWOT Memorial Foundations mission to build a national memorial in Washington, D.C.

WHO: Patriot Park Foundation and Veterans & Athletes United (VAU).
VAU is an all-volunteer veterans 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides many programs to support veterans with disabilities and also honors all of the fallen heroes from the war on terrorism.
