Keynote Speaker:
General (Retired) Curtis “Mike” Scaparrotti is the keynote speaker. He served
concurrently as Supreme Allied Commander, NATO, and Commander, US European
Command, 2016 to 2019. His military career spanned 41 years, from West Point to
key commands, including US Forces Korea / United Nations Command / Combined
Forces Command, South Korea, Director of the Joint Sta, Commander International
Security Assistance Force, Deputy Commander of US Forces – Afghanistan,
Commanding General I Corps and Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Commanding General
82nd Airborne Division, plus command of forces during Operations Iraqi Freedom,
Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and Support Hope (Zaire/Rwanda). Recipient of
many military awards and decorations, 69th Commandant, West Point, member of
multiple boards, trusts and associations, he is currently Senior Counselor, The
Cohen Group and Trustee of the German Marshall Fund.
